ClashWise

After Navisworks clash detection

Manage the results of your Navisworks clash tests.

Keep running your clash tests in Navisworks Manage. ClashWise helps you name and group the results, review recommendations with the team and sync coordination changes back.

For Navisworks Manage 2024, 2025, 2026, 2027.

  1. Autodesk NavisworksNavisworks

    Run the clash tests

Clash Detective produces the geometric results.

  2. ClashWiseClashWise

    Review the published work

Name, group, analyse, assign and coordinate.

  3. Sync the reviewed fields

An explicit sync step in the Navisworks plug-in.

Illustrative workflow. Model geometry is revised in your authoring tools.

ClashWise works with the tests you already run. Each step gives the next person enough information to continue the review.

Prepare

Readable titles and useful groups

Generate descriptive clash titles in 11 languages using six naming standards or your own template. Group results by captured properties and build reusable search sets for the next check.

Review

A worklist with context

Publish the results and relevant properties. Use the matrix to guide recommendations, filter by the fields that matter and inspect both clash elements with their surrounding context.

Coordinate

The team sees the same work

Follow outstanding clashes in dashboards and sessions. Record changes during an active session, save decisions and action items, and review the resulting minutes.

Return

Bring decisions back to Navisworks

Use explicit sync to update supported clash fields in Navisworks, then publish revised results when the model changes. Export Excel, CSV or BCF 2.1 when another team needs the issue record.

Install the ClashWise plug-in and open the ClashWiseAI tab in Navisworks Manage. Keep your current clash tests and connect to the web workspace when you need team coordination.

Installation and requirements

Clear boundaries for your model

ClashWise reads model and clash information, and its preparation and sync tools can update clash titles, groups and coordination fields. It does not redesign the geometry. Continue to make design changes in the authoring application and re-run your checks in Navisworks.

Before Clash Detective runs

Prepare the checks before detection.

Map the source data, build reusable search sets and review the test definitions before Navisworks performs the geometric checks. After the run, Group Clashes and Title Update turn the raw results into a worklist the team can understand.

Prepare the next run and find the work by room.

Coordination Setup connects source models to a reviewed matrix and managed Navisworks tests. Run & Publish runs the stages you choose, including optional grouping and local title review, before creating or updating the selected clash sets.

In the browser, use Plan and IFC rooms to focus the worklist, inspect element properties and reopen saved views or measurements. Reuse context from the Models library across clash sets. Room review needs prepared, aligned IFC spatial data.

Does ClashWise replace Navisworks clash detection?

No. Navisworks Clash Detective runs the geometric tests. ClashWise helps prepare the work and manage the published results through naming, grouping, recommendations, coordination and reporting.

Which versions are supported?

The plug-in supports Autodesk Navisworks Manage 2024, 2025, 2026, 2027. Choose the appropriate installer from the download page.

What changes when I install the plug-in?

The ClashWiseAI ribbon tab gives you access to its tools. Naming, grouping and sync are actions you choose to run; they can update clash data in your Navisworks project. They do not change design geometry.

How much time will my team save?

That depends on your models, naming standards and review process. Try one of your existing clash sets during the 14-day trial and compare preparation, review and reporting effort across the same workflow.

Bring your next clash test into the workflow.

Keep your Navisworks checks. Give the team a connected way to work through the results.
